As indicated by the name, this symptom can be easily recognized by the pink color of the afflicted animal's eye; generally caused by an inflammation of the mucous membranes and soft tissue surrounding the eye. The infection maybe a result of many factors the most common are: bacterial infection, viral infection, allergies and trauma, foreign bodies, inadequate tear production.
